Family and pets.

The ideal family holiday. Children are safe - until they really annoy you ! We do provide life jackets free of charge for the youngsters. Once they get used to steering and working the locks (under your supervision) or exploring the canal banks its rare for them to get bored. Don't forget dad, most canals are not much more than 3ft (1m) deep so if you fall in ignore the laughter, walk to the side and scramble out with as much dignity as possible.

Please note that no pets are allowed on Empress Platinum Boats.

Overseas visitors.

Empress has plenty of experience with overseas visitors, with the USA being one of the main guests followed by Scandanavia. Our free mobile phone and grocery service (at item cost) help starting your holiday off. We are easy to reach from Manchester Airport which has train links to Crewe and Nantwich approx 55 minutes trip. You could incorporate a stop over in Manchester to relax or visit Liverpool only 45 minutes away.
You can of course take the easy option and ask us to arrange your transfers.

It is important to EMPRESS and our customers that our qualified engineers maintain the fleet to a high standard to ensure a trouble free holiday. To give peace of mind however, we operate a 24 - hour emergency call - out service. Overseas visitors are provided with mobile phones free of charge. Old boats are taken out of commision and replaced with new ones, which are fitted out to a high standard.

Take over time.

This is from 3.30pm. This allows our staff to service and prepare the boat properly for your arrival. the boat is to be returned in a clean and tidy condition to our base before 9.30am on the final day.

Car parking.

Free car parking is provided.

Close access to your boat is provided for offloading prior to parking.

If you arrive early why not take a look around Nantwich town centre. We are only minutes away from the town centre. There is a large range of supermarkets, shops, pubs and restaurants.
